Jinnah Foundation (Memorial) Trust (Jinnah Foundation) was established and registered as a charitable trust in 1989 with the main object of human development in the field of primary education and health. Jinnah Foundation is dedicated to the memory of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah as a lasting tribute and in acknowledgement of the monumental role played by the Quaid in the struggle for the creation of Pakistan.
Four (4) buildings of Jinnah Foundation are located in a poor under developed area called ‘Bhitai Colony’. People living in this area fall in the low/ very low income group. In the midst of the broken down roads and often over flowing sewerage, Jinnah Foundation stands out like an “oasis” dedicated to improving the life and living conditions of our younger generation who will hopefully grow up and become responsible citizens of tomorrow.
Without seeking any help or assistance from the Government, Jinnah Foundation has been rendering services to the poor, needy and deprived sections of society in Bhittai Colony, Korangi from 1990 upto date. The primary and secondary school now has more than 1400 students and a staff of 96 teachers, 3 Headmistresses and one Administrator supported by and administrative, maintenance and security staff.
